Does the north pole of a magnet point to the north magnetic pole of the earth

no, actually there is a huge magnet situated inside the earth,the south pole of the huge magnet points towards the north pole of the earth and vice Versa.
Thus, the magnetic pole points towards the south of the magnet i.e., the north pole of the earth.
