No, the parent cell does not exist after asexual reproduction fission.
The parent cells splits into two cells known as daughter cells.
The daughter cells are genetically identical to the parent cell.
When a cell divides into two parts, each part having the potential to grow as the original cell it is termed as binary fission in asexual reproduction.
