Yes,

The First Law of Thermodynamics any type of ( conduction, convection or radiation) heat transfer takes place because of temperature difference. The temperature of the body should be equal to its surroundings otherwise heat transfer takes place by the means of conduction, convection or radiation.

Eg: Body A is at 30 degree Celsius and body B is at 40 degree Celsius, when they come NEAR ENOUGH OR COME IN CONTACT WITH EACH OTHER THE the heat transfer takes place. Then the both bodies would be at 35 degree Celsius.

  • Heat may be transferred by the means of conduction or radiation .
  • Conduction is the transfer of thermal energy due to collisions between the molecules in the object .
