Hii friend,
Everyone has 23 pairs of chromosomes in their body. Two of them are sex chromosomes. They determine the sex of the baby. The ovary has one X chromosome and male gametes have one X chromosome and one Y chromosome. When the Y chromosome fuses with the X chromosome it results in a boy. When, the X chromosome fuses with the other X chromosome, It results on a girl child. Thus this is dependent on the father.
HOPE THIS HELPS YOU :)
