Answer:

2(x-7)+9=2x-5

2x-14=2x-5

The equation has no solution

Since a1/a2=b1/b2not equal c1/c2

sakina24: No
christinascott727: it is wrong answer
christinascott727: as -14 + 9 is 5
christinascott727: -5
christinascott727: it has infinitely many solution

Hey mate here is your answer

For the equation to have unique, no solution or infinitely many solution it must satisfy some conditions as follows
➡A1/A2=B1/B2=C1/C2 For infinitely many solution.........(i)

➡A1/A2 IS NOT EQUAL TO B1/B2 For unique or one zero

➡A1/A2=B1/B2 IS NOT EQUAL TO C1/C2 For no solution

so on comparing the eqns with above

2x-14+9=2x-5
2x-5=2x-5
=0

Now we know that whenever points of co-ordinate is co-linear or straight then it sums to 0.....(1)

therefore from 1
It satisfied (i) condition

so the given eqns has infinitely many solution

I hope it helps you
