You should first do ALL of NCERT thoughroghly, including exemplar and then the sample papers.A lot of time they ask stuff like activities, to which one often doesn't pay attention.

Be sure with never question both intext and pretext of all chapters. Also, solving sample papers will help to know the question pattern and important topics for exam. So doing both will help.
