Find the prime factors:

49 = 7²

56 = 2³ x 7

Find the HCF:

HCF = 7

Find the number of rows needed:

Number of mugs on one row = 7

Number of rows of blue mugs = 49 ÷ 7 = 7

Number or rows of other color mugs = 56 ÷ 7 = 8

Total rows = 7 + 8 = 15

Answer: (a) There are 7 mugs in each row (b) There are 15 rows.
