I). the first stage of domestic circuits to bring the power supply to the main box from the distributional panel, such as transformer. the important components of the main boxes are *Fuse box and * a meter

2). the metre is used to record the consumption of electrical energy. the fuse box contain either a fuse wire or miniature circuit breaker.

3).the function of the fuse wire or MCB is to protect the household appliances from overloading due to excess current.

4). the electricity is brought to houses by two insulated wires,*red insulation-'live wires'

*black insulation-'neutral wires'

5). the electricity supplied to the houses having an electric potential of 220 v.

6). both, the live wire and the neutral wire enter into the box where the main fuse is connected with the live wire.

7). after the electricity metre, the squire enter into the main switch, which is used to discontinue the electricity supply whenever required.

8). after the main features these wires are connected to live wires of two separate circuits.

*5A rating - used to run the electric appliances with the lower power rating. eg;Tube lights, bulbs and fans.

*15A rating - used to run electric appliances with high power rating. eg; A/C, refrigerators, electric iron heaters.

9). all circuits and house are connected in parallel,so that the disconnection of one circular does not affect the other circuit.

10). parallel connection supplies and equal voltage.
