Answer:

Answer:Fill a Cup full of water and measure the dimensions of the cup ( radius and height )

Let's take example a Cup's height is perpendicular to the ground ie an cylindrical cup

Volume of cylinder = πr²h cubic units

after measure the volume of water in the cup submerge your thumb inside the water completely (some water will spill out)

the volume of the water spilled out is equal to the volume of the thumb

after submerging your thumb take it out and measure the volume by taking the height as the level of water from botom of the cup

Then subtract the 2nd volume from the 1st volume that's your thumb's volume!
