Given:-

Let, r be the radius and h be the height of the cylinder.

To Find:-

The diameter of the base of the cylinder

Formula used:-

Curved surface area = 2πrh

Solution:-

 = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times r \times 14 = 88

  ⇝88r = 88 {cm}^{2}

⇝r =  \frac{88}{88}

  ⇝r = 1cm

○ then diameter = 1 × 2 = 2cm

∴ The Diameter of the base of the cylinder is = 2cm
