Question -: a bookseller has 420 science stream books and 130 arts book. He wants to stack them in such a way that each stack has the same number and they take up the least area of the surface .

(i)-: what is the maximum number of books that can be placed in each stack for this purpose ?

(ii)-: which mathematical concept is used to solve the problem ?

For finding number of stacks we need to find HCF of 420 Nd 130

HCF of 420 and 130 =10

(I) Minimum no. of books in each stack=10

(ii) we have used HCF to solve the problem.
