Block mass →m

Initial K.E of the block which is shot at the velocity 5m/s is

→ ½MV²

→m/2×25

→12.5m

W. D by the force(f) of kinetic friction in stopping the block (in motion) in distance (d) = fd

fd⇨(0.1mg) d

⇨initial K. E→ fd

⇨0.1mgd = 12.5m

0.1gd = 12.5. {m canclled out on both sides}

⇨125 = gd

⇨d = 125/g

⇨ d = 125/9.8

⇨d 12.8m Ans
