Doubts:
1. In pg 100 science tb class 10, in dental cavities box, it says "saliva cannot reach tooth surface to neutralise acid". But anyway saliva is acid so even if it reaches it cant neutralise rt? So what do they mean?

meetharithas: yes

hello dear in our science textbook it is correctelly written that saliva can't reach the tooth enamel to neutralise the acid formed by bacterias... now, dear the saliva generally can be a weak acid or a weak base so the ideal ph value of saliva is 7.4-7.9 now the ph value also depends on the food we intake.... so what i mean to say is that the saliva can be a base or an acid depending upon ph value ......so we need to brush or clean our teeth everyday to maintain ph value of teeth..........

i hope you like it please i hope i made it clear to you ...bye dear.....
