Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born 5th September 1888 and he died in 17 April 1975 . He was the second president of India . Apart from this he was an Indian philosopher , and a great teacher .

He served the first Vice President of India in the year 1952 to 1962 . So now come to the question , the thing which he admired the most Is ' Education ' . As he believed that it is the ultimate weapon for all human being. So he never lose faith in ' Education ' . So , In present era the date of his birthday celebrated as 'Teachers Day ' in India .
