Come what may, one cannot forget his friends. Friends are the real assets of a person in his life. A good friend emerges to be your companion through every thick and thin. He cannot leave you alone in hard times. Today, it makes me very sentimental and sad to bid farewell to one of our fellow students. He is not just a class fellow but also a close friend of mine. However, this is the way the life goes on. I will not ask him to change his plan and stay with us because it will be an act of selfishness for he has got a life making opportunity to study abroad. I wish him success in all the future endeavors. I thank you all.
Farewell to Fellow Student Going Abroad
Good morning everyone present. We have gathered here to bid farewell to Avinash, our beloved class fellow, who is immigrating to Canada for his higher studies.
I am feeling both sad and elated on the occasion; sad because, he has been studying in this school since Kindergarten. Our long association will be missed by all of us. However, I am happy also for his future. He will start carving his own career. I am sure the values, ethics, character, academic and other basic skills he has learnt will really help him in shaping his bright career. I am hopeful he will bring glory and laurels to all of us.
I wish him all the success. May he continue to shine in Canada as he has always shone here!
