Good morning everyone present. I am going to express my views on ‘Small things in nature play a big role’. I am reminded of Ben Jonson’s famous poem ‘The Noble Nature’ that beautifully describes the value and importance of small things in life. One line of the poem is worth mentioning here. The line is: ‘In small proportions we just beauties see; And in short measures life may perfect be.’
We must value the small, meager forces that when multiplied become huge, colossal expression of creation. All the million mile long networks of roads, railways, communication and electrical cables laid across the globe could be possible only in small measures at the beginning. They were laid inch by inch, foot by foot, meter by meter until they became a gigantic, immeasurable network.
So, do apply this formula in building up of your life. I would like to give a golden piece of advice to my fellow students with regards to the application of this formula to achieve success in their academics. Read, study all the texts, information pertaining to your respective subjects, collected word by word over the years will become a huge reservoir of knowledge that will help you face life’s challenges successfully. This knowledge will also make you more creative and innovative which will further be instrumental in making the world a better place.
