Answer.

Step 1 _draw a circle of radius 4cm.

Step 2_draw a line AO of 12cm from the center of the circle.

Step3_construct a perpendicular bisector XY of that line.

Step4_mark point M where the XY intersects AO.

Step5_Take AM as the radius and draw a circle.

Step 6_mark points R and S where this circle intersect the previous circle.

Step7-Finally join A to R and A to s .

AT AND AS ARE THE TANGENTSOF THE CIRCLE.

measure their lengths using ruler.
