Step-by-step explanation:

The radius of a circle is any line segment connecting the centre of the circle to any point on the circle. The chord of a circle is a line segment joining any two points on the circle. The chord of a circle which passes through the centre of the circle is called the diameter of the circle.

You can find the radius of a circle if you have the length and height of a chord of that circle. Multiply the height of the chord times four. For instance, if the height is two, multiply two times four to get eight.

I Think U Should Name The Radius,Diameter and Chord On The Circle....

Hope you got correct Answer.....

Given :  Draw a circle of radius 4cm .

To Find : Show a radius , diameter and chord on the circle

Solution:

Step 1 : Take a point O

Step 2 : Using compass width = 4 cm and taking O as center draw a circle

Step 3 : Take a point A  any where on circumference of circle

Step 4 : Join OA

OA is radius

Step 5 : Take a point B any where on circumference of circle

Step 6 : Draw  a line segment BC passing through O and C is on circumference of circle

BC is diameter

Diameter is also a chord

However drawing one more chord

Step 7 : Take two points D and E on  circumference of circle  and Join

DE is chord
