- from the point of centre O take 10cm using measuring scale and mark as P
- draw a perpendicular bisector for the line OP
- using the perpendicular bisector draw a circle
- from the point P extend two lines to the circle of radius 6cm the extended line have to touch a point on the circle at top and bottom
- mark the touched point as A and B
- A and B are the required tangent
- To verify
OP^2=OA^2+OB^2
using this formula after measuring the length
