Draw a circuit diagram of an electric circuit containing a cell,a key,an ammeter,a resistor of 2Q in series with a combination of two resistors(4Q each) in parallel and a voltmeter across the parallel combination. Will the potential different across the 2Q resistor be the same as the across the parallel combination of 4Q resistors?Give reason

Answer:

Thus, resistance of parallel combination is equal to resistance of resistors in series. So, potential difference across 20 resistance will be same as potential difference across the

other two resistors which are connected in parallel.
