Eukaryotic nucleus is membrane bound.
It has nuclear membrane and nuclear pores.
Inside it is present genetic material and nucleolus.
It contains a fluid like structure called nucleoplasm.
Nucleoplasm and cytoplasm together is called protoplasm.
Prokaryotic cells do not have well defined nucleus.
Instead they have nucleoid.
It is not membrane bound.
Genetic material is free.
