To draw:

Labelled ray diagram of image formation by concave mirror when the object is placed

  • Between Centre of Curvature and Focus

  • Between focus and pole.

Solution:

Image characteristics when Object is placed between C and F :

  • Image is real.

  • Image is inverted.

  • Image is magnified.

  • Image is formed beyond 2F (i.e. beyond Centre of Curvature)

Image characteristics when Object is placed between F and Pole

  • Image is virtual.

  • Image is magnified.

  • Image is erect.

Rules during ray-diagram drawing:

  • Paraxial rays from the object after reflection will pass through the focus.

  • Rays through the centre of curvature will trace its path back.

\star Hope It Helps.
