As per in the fig Draw line AB (as l)

1. Take point P out side AB  as per fig

2. From P to AB draw a per perpendicular PQ as shown

3.Now at P make angle of 90 degree and extend the line CD

both side of  P.

CD is parallel  line to AB passing through P

Proof:

∠CPQ=∠PQB=90°

But these are alternate angles

and PQ is a transverse line

so AB  || CD
