Construction of line parallel to AB throug C:
- Draw a line segment AB = 7 cm.
- Pass a ray AX through A such that ∠BAX = 60°.
- With a radius of 4 cm, draw an arc on AX from A.
- Mark this point as C on AX.
- Now with a suitable radius, draw an arc from A such that it cuts AB and AC.
- With same radius, cut an arc from C on same side and mark this point as Y.
- Copy angle A with compass and cut the arc from point Y.
- Name the point of intersection of these two points as D.
- Draw a line passing through CD.
- CD is parallel to AB.
