Draw AB which will be 8 cm
Draw angle BAX and the ray BX in 7 equal parts A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7
Join A7B
Draw a line parallel to A7B through A3 which cuts AB at C
AC:CB = 3:4
Now 3/4th of AB = 3/4 x 8 = 6c
