Working steps to draw circle of radius 4 cm passing through A & B (AB=5 cm)
Draw a straight line AB of length 5 cm & draw its perpendicular bisector.
Draw an arc of length 4 cm to intersect perpendicular bisector. The point of intersection will be the center of circle.
Draw the circle of radius 4 cm having center at the point point of intersection.
In second question, the circle of radius 2 cm can have maximum length of chord equal to its diameter 4 cm. So the circle of radius 2 cm can’t be drawn which passes through the points A & B such that AB=5 cm.
