Taking a AB equal to 7 cm Now make an acute angle on A  let a point C lies on this angle now cut an Arc of any length on this line before c Similarly draw acute angle on be but this time downwards Let D lies on it Make three equal arcs of same length as made on AC Now join the arc of AC to third arc of BC. Let this line meet AB at P So AP:BP=1:3
