let the length be 3x and 5x which corresponds to AP & AB
therefore 5x = 7
x = 7/5
therefore AP = 3x = 3 × 7/5 = 21/5 = 4.2cm
●Now draw a line seeng AB with ruler
●open compass to 4.2cm
●put the nib of compass at A and then cut the line AB
●the point of cutting is point P
therefore 5x = 7
