Line DE parallel with XY.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Draw a line segment DE = 6\ cm. Take a point A below the line segment DE and Construct a line parallel to DE passing through A.

Following steps:

  • Draw vertical line DE = 6\ cm
  • Take a point A below the line DE,
  • Take point B on DE and Join  AB and extend it like BC
  • Draw an arc FG from point B
  • Draw same arc from point A which touch the line BC  at G
  • Take measure of arc FG and cuts a point I from point H
  • Join AI and extend it like XY
  • And measure the distance between line DE and XY

Now, Line DE parallel with XY.
