First draw a line segment AB of length 10 cm.

now from point A, at some angle, draw a random line of any length more than half of AB(for better marking)

using compass, keep the centre as A and cut an arc of any length on this new line.

keep the point of intersection as centre and repeat this to get 5 equally spaced points on new line AC

join the 5 th point from A on line segment AC to B

draw a line, parallel to this DB line from 3rd point onto the line segment AB.

this divides it in 3:2 ratio.

measuring this we get length as 6 cm and 4 cm.
