step to draw perpendicular bisector is:

i) draw a line as given 6.2cm Name it PQ.

ii)take a compass. take the radius mare than half of the line.

iii) by taking point on P swing compass and make a arc above and below the line.

iv)do the same by taking point Q (without changing radius) cut the arc which u have made by taking point on P above & below the line.

v) join the cut point of arc.
the Line which u get is the perpendicular bisector of that line.

first draw the line segment PQ (6.2 cm)
then draw an arc on the line segment PQ and then mark 60° angle and then again mark 60° from the point the angle was made and then make two marks from those two 60° angles marked ,thus you will obtain a point and draw an arc (that will make the perpendicular bisector of the line segment)
