This is a linear equation of a line

We know that, we need two points minimum to draw a line.

Given line,

x - 2y = 6

When, x = 0 , y = -3

When, x = 6 , y = 0

Thus, We have two points,

(0, -3) and  (6, 0)

By joining these points we can get a line for equation x-2y=6
