Ans.

Phleom is a vascular tissue of plants that plays role in transport of soluble organic photosynthases (compounds made during photosynthesis) to the different plant parts. Phloem is composed of four main types of cells, named companion cells, parenchyma, sieve elements, and sclerenchyma (or phloem fibers).

The companion cells help sieve elements in transport, the parenchyma cells help in food storage, the sieve tubes transport sugars throughout the different parts of plants, and sclerenchyma provides support to the plants.

The diagram of phloem is given in attached file.
