Solar cooker works on the principle of conversion of solar energy into heat energy. Then this heat is used to cook the food.
*Solar cooker is a device made up of cooking vessels, glass sheet, mirror, a blackened aluminum tray, wooden box etc and is used to cook meals with the help of solar energy without the use of any conventional fuel.
*The rays from the sun enter the
box through the glass sheet.
*The black surface of the box
absorbs the sun rays and is not
able to go out through its surface.
*This makes the box air tight and

cooker increases and the food
