the xylem helps in the translocation of water and Minerals from the roots of the plants to the other parts of the plant.

Explanation:

  • The xylem consists of the xylem vessels, the xylem fibres, the xylem parenchyma , the sieve tube and the tracheids.
  • The xylem are usually present in the gymnosperm and angiosperm group of the plant. They usually start from the lower part of the stem and goes to all parts of the the plant body. They lie inner to the phloem of the plant. The transportation of water and Minerals usually takes place from the xylem vessels.
