You can draw perpendicular bisector by the following steps-
1.Draw a line PQ=6.8cm.
2.With the help of compass take more then half radius of the line i. e more than 2.4.
3.Taking P as centre draw two arcs opposite to each other.
4.Similarly Again taking Q as point draw two arcs intersecting each other at A And B.
5.Join A and B.
hence AB is the perpendicular bisector of PQ.
