The two rays used are as shown in the figure. The image formed in this case is a real inverted and enlarged one. It is formed beyond the center of curvature

  • The point C is known as Center of Curvature and point F is the focus of the concave mirror.
  • When the object is placed between the points C and F the image formed is beyond the point C        
  • The nature of the image formed is: real, enlarged, and inverted.
