Given : a triangle and a quadrilateral having two sides  in common.

To Find : Draw a rough sketch

Solution:

Draw any Quadrilateral  .

Let say PQRS

Join any of the diagonal

if  PR is joined

Then Δ PQR    &  quadrilateral PQRS

PQ & QR common side

or Δ PSR    &  quadrilateral PQR

PS & RS common side

if QS is joined

Then Δ PQS    &  quadrilateral PQRS

PQ & PS common side

or Δ QRS    &  quadrilateral PQRS

QR & RS common side

its not possible to have three sides common between triangle and quadrilateral

One angle is possible to common between rectangle and triangle
