Construct a small square ABCD, Construct a big square enclosing small one and name it EFGH
As inner dimensions are 12 cm × 12 cm
Now path area = 256 m^2
Outer area = 256 + 144
= 400 m^2
Area of square = side ^2
_/ 400 m^2 = side
20 m = side
Difference between = Outer length - inner length
= 20 m - 12 m
= 8 m
Now , 8m is we know that distance = ( EF and AB ) + ( CD and HG )
8 cm / 2 = Distance between each wall.
=4 cm
