1600 - East India Company was first formed. It was developed by the Great Britain to trade with India.

1602 - Dutch arrived in India

1605 - Akbar announced as dead and Jahangir succeeded the throne.

1612 - Jahangir died and the throne was succeeded by his son Shah Jahan.

1630 - Chatrapathi Shivaji was Born.

1658 - Shahjahan was succeeded by his son Aurangzeb.

1664 - Marathas under Shivaji won the Battle of Surat

1665 - Treaty of Purandhar was signed

1668 - Official announcement of Shivaji's death.
