Answer:

Steps of construction;

  1. Draw the base OR =3.5 cm
  2. At Q construct 40 degrees with protractor
  3. Draw a line through it i.e QY
  4. At R construct 60 degrees with a compass
  5. Draw a line through it i.e RX
  6. Join both the lines and name the point of incidence P

The construction of ∆PQR is attached.

Given:

  • A triangle PQR.
  • QR is equals to 3.5 cm and angle Q=40° and angle R=60°.

To find:

  • Construction of ∆ PQR.

Solution:

Steps of construction:

  1. Draw base line QR,3.5 cm in length with the help of scale and pencil.
  2. Measure some length with compass and make an arc form point R, mark another arc on that arc from base line, it is angle measure 60°.
  3. With the help of protector mark an angle of 40° from point Q.
  4. The rays of both angles meet at a point, let this point is P.
  5. Construction of ∆PQR is over.

Thus,

By this way construction of ∆PQR is done according to the given specifications.
