  • The 23rd ("parallel north") latitude circle  is situated at 23 degrees north of the "equatorial" plane of the earth, some 50 km south of the Cancer Tropic. They cross the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean ocean Africa, and Asia.
  • Gobind Sagar Lake is a reservoir in Himachal Pradesh districts of Bilaspur & Una. It is formed by the "Bhakra Dam".   The reservoirs are situated on the Sutlej river and are named after the tenth Sikh guru in honour of Guru Gobind Singh. The Bhakra Dam is one of the largest gravitational dams in the world and sits almost 225,5 m above its bottom. . The work started in the year 1955 and was finished in 1962, under the supervision of the American dam designer, Harvey Slocu m In order to preserve the water level, the river Beas was channelled through the Beas-Sutlej connexion in 1976 to Gobind Sagar.
  • The field Mumbai High is an Offshore oilfield situated on the Arabian Sea, some 160 km west of the coast of Mumbai in India. Operated  by "Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC)" it was discovered in  the year 1974, and the field began production in 1976. It is the biggest offshore petroleum field in India. Around 161 km north of the Mumbai coast, Bombay High has a number of petroleum and gas plants on the sea pumping petroleum to the coast. It accounts for 14% of Indian oil needs and 38% of all domestic production.
  • Thoothukudi is a port city, civic and industrial town in the Indian Tamil Nadu district of Thoothukudi and was also called formerly as "Tuticorin" . Since pearl fisheries werecarried out in the town of Thoothukudi, it is known as the "Pearl City." It is a retail port serving southern India's inland towns and is one of Tamil Nadu 's sea gateways. It is one of India's largest seaports with a history from the 6th century AD. The city is thought to be important in ancient times
