Steps of construction:

Draw a triangle ABC of any measure.

Taking C as a center and a small radius draw an arc which cut CB and CA at P and Q respectively.

With same radius and centre A draw an arc which cut AC at R.

Measure the arc PQ using compass and cut the same arc length RS.

Join AS and extend to X.
