●Firstly a covalent bond is formed by mutual sharing of electrons and is formed between non metals .on the basis of number of shared electron it is of following types:-
i】Single bond which is formed by sharing only one electron eg is F2
ii】Double bond formed by sharing of two electron eg is O2
iii】Triple bond where there is mutual sharing of three electrons eg N2
