Assume a value for x and find the value of y by forming a linear equation .

lets assume the value of x to be 1 ( bcz this is the easiest to start off with ) .

if x = 1 then , the equation becomes

1 + y = 4

y = 4 - 1

y = 3

so , we got values for both x and y .

u can continue with the same process for other numbers . Refer to the attachment .
