Step-by-step explanation:

y=x+1

if y=0 x=-1

if x=0 y=1

like this take arbitary values of x or y and by putting in eq. get the other variable's value ....thus u get a pt....take 2to3 such points...plot them...and get the line satisfying the eq.....

x+y=5... do the same fr this eq too....

after u get the lines...find which quadrant has more pirtion of those lines....erase out the portions of the lines u drew in other quadrants....( its a trick)
