Answer:

An a orbital is a sphere in two dimensions we draw it as a circle

A p orbital consists, of two lobes of electron density on either side of the nucleus

we usually draw p orbital as figure eights but we should remember p orbital are really much fatter than in our usual drawing

S orbital Diagram and Explanation

Explanation:

The s orbital has a  spherical-shaped region which describe the location of electron to be found, within a minimum degree of probability.  Quantum numbers is connected with an energy state and  are responsible for the shape that orbital have

Location of s orbital

An s orbital is  symmetric and found around the nucleus of an atom. As the energy levels tend to increase, the electrons  locate further away from the nucleus, so this way the orbitals get bigger in size.

Number of orbitals present in s orbital

s sub level orbital has only 1 orbital, and contains  2 electrons max.

p sub level orbital has 3 orbitals, and contains  6 electrons max.

d sub level orbital has 5 orbitals, and  contains 10 electrons max.

4 sub level orbital  has 7 orbitals, and  contains 14 electrons max.

S Orbital is the smallest of all
