What is germination?

=> Germination is a process of development/growth of a plant from a seed.

It is a term used in botany.

In pollen germination, the pollen lands on the stigma.

Some Important Terms :-

• Pollen Grain - Male microgametophytes which produces the male gametes.

• Stigma - Sticky stem of the pistil that receives pollen from pollinators.

• Pollen Tube - A tube through which male gametes reach the female gametes.
