construct a triangle of sides 6.5cm, 7.5cm and 5.5cm and then a triangle similar to it whose sides are 5/7 of the corresponding sides of the first triangle.

First draw the base of 5.5 cm with the help of scale and pencil. Then open your compass of radius 6.5 cm and put the compass tip on the right point of the base and put an arc. Then open the compass of radius 7.5 cm and put the tip on the left point of the base and then again put an arc. These two arcs will meet at a point. Then put the scale on both the sides one by one and draw a line upto where the points meet. After this you will get a triangle of the mentioned sides

then take the compass with a measure of 6.5and 5.5 then take a comm position
mark two lines from the ends
