 Given \: linear \: equation \: in \: two \\ variables\: x \: and \: y \:is \: 3x - 2y = 0

 \implies -2y = -3x

 \implies y = \frac{-3}{-2} x

 \implies y = \frac{3}{2}x \: ---(1)

 i) If \: x = 2 \:then \: y = 3

 ii) If \: x = 0 \:then \: y = 0

 iii) If \: x = -2 \:then \: y = -3

 Plotting \: the \: points \: A(2,3) , O(0,0) \:and \\B(-2,-3) \: on \:the \: graph \: and \: joining \:them \\we \:get \: a \: straight \: which \: is \: passing \\through \:the \: origin .

Note:

Equation of the form y = mx is passing through the origin .
